Recommendations on communications coaches/consultants?

Alexis Nguyen

Looking to you for advice and recommendations.

I am currently doing research on the coaching/consultant industry for my startup, with the specific focus on communications (presentation, speech, body language). As a high level overview, my startup is building a supplemental platform to help communications coaches and their clients get more out of the coaching experience while supporting the clients in achieving their end goal - overcoming their speaking fears and becoming a more effective presenter. I have nothing to sell, just want to connect with these coaches/consultants to better understand their work and get their advice so I don't build the wrong product.

A great idea is 1% of the work. Execution is the other 99%. In this course, we’ll teach you how to conduct market analysis, create an MVP and pivot (if needed), launch your business, survey customers, iterate your product/service based on feedback, and gain traction quickly.

Hi Alexis,

In my classes at Northwestern and University of Chicago and my consulting I teach a lot of non-verbal communication skills including the "Super Awesome Presentation Zone Program" and Trade Show Samurai-- both focus heavily on non-verbal skills and are quite popular.

I'm in the business right now. I'd love to be in touch and see where you're going with this.

I'm on the BOA of CrowdWest, a start-up consultancy in Atlanta and my business is Presentation TuneUps. I teach exactly what you describe for the CDC and other firms or individuals who want to improve their communication skills.

Reach out if I can help you with your research or your venture.

Hi Alexis.

I'm a former global spokesperson for Match.com, a company I also helped start. I've done years of television and radio interviews (Nightline, 60 Minutes, 48 Hours, Power Lunch, CNN, NPR, BBC radio, etc.)  I now have a media training startup, Panic Media Training.  My co-founder is a top tier reporter who interviewed me many times over the years. We are doing some out-of-the-box thinking about media training and would love to see what you are doing.  www.panicmediatraining.com
