Resources for Optimizing Site after recent name change?

My company CareAcademy.co just recently changed it's name and I am now getting offers left and right on Odesk to "optimize the site". Granted our SEO has taken a hit, does anyone know of any experts through Odesk or that I should speak with about better enabling our site to rise to the top on SEO? To be sure we publish content 3-5 times a week but right now the way our pages are configured I think that it it s extremely hard to find us.
Anyone who can talk about this or has some insights on a great contactor? Any thoughts on how we can help ourselves?

hard question because i don't trust in freelancers on odesk in seo field, because today people who know post on facebook say that they are seo gurus and social managers.
And half of them on odesk outsource and that is big problem.
My advice is find really good compay in your city with really good portfolio.
Becouse seo is not one day job it is proces.

Helen, Full disclosure: we are a firm that helps with this. Of course this isn't an easy, one-size-fits-all answer, but it typically breaks down into 2 components: Your site needs the right 'technical' SEO architecture - links, tags, etc The 3 to 5 pieces of content you produce a week need to be high quality content We specifically help with #2. Typically 80% of the content people publish fails to drive traffic at all. We can tell you how your content will perform before you write it and make tightly related suggestions so the time and effort you put into creating your content will have the impact you seek. Not only will this drive much more traffic, but it will also help your overall rankings. We typically drive 2 to 4x increases in traffic and related performance metrics (conversions, etc). Here are a couple recent articles on us: http://www.adweek.com/news/press/content-app-uses-data-predict-what-people-want-read-160144 http://www.mediapost.com/publications/article/233762/how-to-forecast-content-performance.html I'd be happy to take you through what we do, and also recommend some SEO consultants once I better understand your exact situation. I think you'll find we have big impact. Please let me know a time that works for you this week or next. Best, Skip
