Shipping products for early stage hardware startups

What are some of shipping options used by early stage hardware companies? USPS or regular courier companies seem to expensive.

Is anyone familiar if bulk discounts are possible with any of the larger courier companies? What other options have people used in the past for shipping products?

If you signup for an account with one of the big boys (FedEx, UPS, etc.) they will automatically start of erring discounts once you reach volume.

If you need a programatic solution I would consider, https://www.easypost.com as it lets you compare prices between carriers (kayak-esque).

I'm pretty familiar with the shipping and logistics space. It depends on the nature of your hardware and crossing borders etc. It also depends on your volume and margins. The process is generally internal, 3PL's and then internal at later stages of growth. I probably know some people who can help you,

Hi Arnav, I also responded to your earlier question, but I think you should check out PostageAnywhere.com

You (or anyone) can also contact me and I can tell you more on how to obtain exclusive pricing without volume commitments.
