users can join and login to our web application using a mobile number (or email or FB) and PW. When it comes to testing the join-via-email process we use Mailinator - it works well for basically 'disposable' email accounts. nothing to setup or maintain. Have you used any similar tools (free is always good) for testing your join-using-phone-number process and confirmation text messaging? Basic function would be: ability to create or reserve a range of US phone numbers that would receive SMS and then consolidate/forward SMS messages to 1 or more US phone numbers or India phone numbers. pretty simple. We use Twilio for SMS and MMS delivery and I'm sure we could build our own test app using Twilio, but i'm hoping we can find a tool already tried and true. thanks!
Check this InfoWorld's post. I think that you could find some right solution there http://www.infoworld.com/article/3184333/mobile-development/8-great-testing-tools-for-mobile-app-developers.html#slide9
Hey Rob, never used it but saw it recommended on Product Hunt a few times: https://get.digits.com/phone-based-sign-in - I'm pretty sure it's 100% free. Was doing some research on this very thing recently which is how I came across it.
