Uncovering stealth startup name

I was at an investor meeting on Friday and he mentioned a new company that's trying to cut the friction between corporate providers (e.g. banks, insurance, airlines) and customers by providing one place for them to interact using a single sign-on.  Has anyone heard of a company who is doing this? They supposedly have corporate partners and at least 100K consumers plus millions and funding and are based in the bay area. It's obviously stealth and he wouldn't disclose the name. Can anyone help?

Paul T.:
He said it was privately funded to date.
Scott:
Anything to add?
Paul H.:
It goes beyond transactions.
Sameer:
What's ID? I didn't see it on their portfolio company "wheel."
Matthew:
It came up when I was describing part of what my new company will do. Meeting went well but he thought there may be some synergies.

Not sure if this helps or if this is what he was speaking of... but all the fact fit.

Note: For security reasons the launch site for both products was closed in October after surpassing both private-alpha & beta signup goals.

I'm interested to learn more about how the topic came up or anything else mentioned. How did the meeting go?  ~Matthew

Sounds like Gathr.com could be in that bucket, but it's definitely not stealth (launched by AOL).

Sameer:
That's not it. It's not about passwords but creating a new type of relationship between providers and consumers.
