I'm not a huge fan of startups doing much at SxSW except meetings. It's an
insane competition for attention that usually doesn't pan out and because
Sx is a huge organization now, doing anything unsanctioned is tough. A
small gathering is fine but I don't think the ROI is there for startups.

Surely there must be some reason why thousands of startups go to SXSW each year.
Agreed with Jessica, there's too much noise and the ROI is long gone. Use the time at the event to make connections and deepen existing ones. Or better yet, stay home and spend that same time and money on moving the needle. How many clicks on AdWords could you buy for the same cost of your hotel room?

i agree with Jessica. We choose to go with Collision in NO this year to launch our project.
