What are some creative strategies to use when following up with investors?

I am currently in the process of raising a round and in communication with a good amount of investors. For the most part I‘ve had introductory calls or meetings where I have introduced them all to our company. However, I am wondering what are the best ways to stay on their radar. Some folks have recommended that I follow up every two weeks and other once a month.

What kind of strategies do you recommend to use when I follow up? How often should I follow up? What kind of updates makes sense to share with them? Should the followup be via phone, email, or text?
