What are some great, free advertising platforms for tech startups?

I'm helping a friend start a company in the music tech space. Specifically, it's a portable size bluetooth speaker packed with great audio and speakerphone technology. (JumBeat.com)

Like many start-ups, we have a very limited budget so we're exploring beyond traditional avenues like Google Adwords, Facebook ads, etc.

We are wondering which sites out there, who targets tech lovers/ consumer product lovers, could we syndicate our content and media, for free? as an example, theserverside.com allows you to post your blog articles for free (but the target demographic doesn't align with ours)

Any other tidbits of advice would be much appreciated. Also, any sites where we could drive awareness to Black Friday and cyber Monday shoppers would be extremely helpful.

Lisa- Check out sites such as Netvibes and Buzzstream. For small amount of money lets you find influencers and relevant conversations on your topic of choice across most mainstream social media platforms to participate in and raise awareness, I would also recommend they go to Udemy.com and search for courses on social media. Some are free, many are very inexpensive. I have found a wealth of information and paid a total of $19 to get very specific information on where to go, what to do, etc. Regards, Chris Carruth The financial " bottom line" is the end of the story. I help create the chapters in between. 817.691.7655(cell)

How about starting with youtube or vimeo and set up a channel for newly discovered talent.
