I need to hire someone to shoot an explainer video and wondered if any FounderDating community members have used any of these firms: Demo Duck, Video Brewery, RocketWheel, and Switch Video? If so, can you please share your experience? Did you choose animation or live action (i.e. people)? In general, What advice would you give if you had to do it all over again?
we used a small company based in Uruguay that we found via Guru.com. Animatica studios. Diego is the owner/artist. firstname.lastname@example.org. Please let him know we (PetHero.org) referred you. You will likely find some of his work on youtube. you can see the whiteboard animation video he did for us at PetHero.org. We ran a contest at voice123.com for the professional voiceover (we had 30 custom auditions using our own script within a 24 hours - several were quite good. The artist we selected also provided the music - $250 total. The whole video including voiceover and music was under $1k. hard to beat. If you view the video please provide feedback.
Thanks Keegan, but I was asking specifically about the 4 firms mentioned in my post (DD, VB, RW and SV) - not a general question about where to find an agency. Ideally, I can get feedback on those firms and the different paths chosen.

A good friend recommended http://breadnbeyond.com/
I have had good experience with Board Studios. They don't do live action but are very good at whiteboard and motion graphics explainers and are very cost-competitive. I will be happy to make the intro.
