This information is not secret. But it is different in every state, and it's also up to the retailer what they want to charge. Control states are different still because the government is the sole retailer. A "discount" liquor store is going to have a different margin than a "big box" liquor store and different from a boutique or neighborhood store too. I assume you're only talking about off-premise sales, not on-premise sales when you say "retailer." The word "retailer" includes on-premise in some states. The amount of tax also varies by state.
