What are the ways in which this idea can generate revenue?

The idea: connecting emerging consumer brands with hospitality spaces so potential customers can try before they buy.

1. Does this already exist?

2. I'm assuming I charge the brands to be placed in these spaces

3. What are some other ways to generate revenue?

1. The concept "try before buying" does exist. In the food industry, you have the sample tables with brand ambassadors and food demonstrators in the supermarkets and at certain large industry specific trade shows. Conceptually, any available space could work if there was enough traffic, and the display was properly presentable and attractive.

2. Often the people who represent the brands are either on payroll, or independent contractors - which would be you. Organizing and arranging with the venue, in this case hospitality spaces, can be done by you, or by the brand. Many companies have policies but they are quite variable. Obviously, if you do this, you can charge for it. This would mean that you have the contacts and knowledge to do so.

3. What is it that you are selling? What is your value add to a potential client ? Why should someone want to work with you? There are many ways to generate revenue.

As Michael Farmer rightly said, it already exists in the food industry and is quite extensive here in the UK - and aside from the venues he mentioned, the mainline train station concourses are another great venue for product sampling.

This is an idea I researched and analyzed with a friend in the past. We felt it had merit, but we wound up not going after it, mainly due to us having limited bandwidth at the time. If you're serious about pursuing it, feel free to connect with me directly.
