I was looking through a bunch recently but I think my favorite is still Buffer’s (see it here). Sure, graphs look fancy, but I like how open and forward Buffer is about its financials and traction. No need to dig for that information. It’s all out in the open and the founders used it to connect data points to make a conclusion, e.g. x-churn to y-ltv=z-user acquisition fee. Too many startups, it seems, spout impressive financials and graphs but don’t understand or know how to explain how those numbers came to be and how they connect.
