I was looking online for companies that offer tools to support automated, recorded phone interviews.

Do any of you have experience using this method as part of a hiring process?

What companies do you recommend to can support our company's effort to conduct automated, recorded phone interviews?

Frankly, I cannot think of any worse way to conduct the hiring process than to intervene in this very personal, step-by-step process to recruit good people to my business....by automating.
Every single person wants to be wanted and to be treated with respect.
Respect and automation do not go hand in hand.
But what do I know?  I'm just a former corporate (retained) headhunter.

I'm with Erika. I think you want to be engaging with prospective employees and listening for who they are. And, as Erika said they want to be wanted and respected. Speaking to them is a good start.

i agree; its hard enough to attract cultivate and retain qualified people don't make it harder by starting off with impersonal pre-recor4ded interviews. the personal touch is appreciated. if time is a real problem I'd still rather interview with an assistant in person where i can make an impact than with a machine. thanks max

Hi Charlene, A co-worker of mine has talked to this company which you might find useful. I believe they provide the type of service you are looking for to many enterprise companies who have a lot of mass hiring of lower level type positions helping speed up the interview and selection process. Montage Video Interviewing Software https://www.montagetalent.com/ - Montage is a full interviewing suite complete with live and on-demand functionality for video, voice and in-person interviewing. For use from sourcing through onboarding, the platform includes mobile and SMS text integration and a self-scheduler so candidates can find a time that works best for both them and the recruiter. - Hiring managers can choose from a variety of questions from Montage’s question library, or create their own, and send them to job candidates via video, audio or text. After candidates record their responses through webcam or smartphone, hiring managers can share, compare, score and decide on candidates within the platform. Interviews are branded, and users can control if candidates have one or multiple chances to answer each question. Interviews can be recorded and shared, and participants can join the interview via tablet or mobile device. - Able to be integrated with any ATS, Montage has been used in 180 countries and has been translated into 18 languages. Customers also have access to Montage’s 24/7 support should any issues or questions arise. I hope this helps and feel free to reach out to me for further discussion as well as connect with me on LinkedIn too! Check out JobOn (www.jobon.com) for an apply-by-video approach that is very helpful in screening candidates for high-volume hiring or high turnover hiring.
