Trends? Anything Fintech(especially anything offering liquidity to pre-ipo startups) or Greentech(EU quite possibly needs massive investment post brexit to even out the carbon credits) or BigData. EU regulations are potentially opening up big areas for greener transport, (there's major funding for anyone who can provide more environmentally friendly ballast for ships.) as well as the possible petro-diseal ban, bunker-oil ban, requiring new transport technologies for cars and ships(riverine and coastal)

I believe there's a few funded Rotterdam startups, looking to disrupt the shipping industry and ship-to-shore power model.

Loads of opportunity around Brexit , and possibly in the US replacing lost labour due to lost immigrant workforce. Think fractional employee-as-a-service.

corporate-onboarding type services, for brexiting companies in Dublin,Berlin,Paris,Frankfurt and possibly New York.
