What is retail for a printed T-Shirt or Sweatshirt?

I need to have some T-Shirts screen-printed and/or embroidered for resale. However, every outlet I find (locally and online) seems to be offering retail prices - even at volume.

Can you enlighten me on the current retail prices for t-shirts/sweatshirts that have a logo/design?

Do you know of other options for lowering the cost while keeping the quality medium to high?

we have found that Costco has pretty good rates for both screen print and embroidery.  They can handle small - large runs, have people onsite who can help with designs, etc. As i recall their blank tee shirts were $4-7 and depending on size of run we were looking at $6-9 or so delivered to us.

Hi Clynton, You can contact my silkscreen company in San Rafael, CA  www.graphicfacts.com
They print a complete line of shirts I do for a very large bicycle retailer. They also print all the shirts for PIXAR pictures.
You can contact me if you are looking for branding for packaging or garments.

Hi Clynton, The prices will vary. from $12-$36 for a t-shirt. I design and sell many t-shirts. It all depends on how much you pay for production. Best, Rob
