What kind of GDPR principles and practices do cloud-hosted CRM products follow?

I am soon piloting a mobile app which works like a CRM - only to the extent that the app will be used by my clients and their employees, who may use the app to collect and store their customer details and use the app to 'process' that data. Other than having a GDPR compliant Privacy Policy that guarantees to our clients that their company data including raw as well as processed customer data is safe with us, do I need to anything else? How my Clients use their customer data isn't really in my control, is it?

Hi Ravi,

GDPR is applicable as of now for EU nations, which means if you are storing any of the personal data from citizens EU nations then you have to comply with GDPR. There are consultants who could help you preparing a check list of compliance items, that could be built into the CRM solution you are building. I can introduce you to our partner in Sweden who is a GDPR consultant and we have built a solution for him that he sells to his end clients, that helps organisations to comply with GDPR.

Let me know if you want to connect with him.
