What's the best Inventory Management platforms/processes for a new product startup?

I'm involved in launching a new products (supplements) business and am setting up our inventory management system. I've always been involved in digital and services companies so this is a new one for me. 

We're a startup with a few hundred sales per month right now with 5 individual products. We look to be scaling up to 10 products in the next 6 months. 

I'm looking for a simple inventory management system with a minimal learning curve but our business is still very early so I don't want to invest a lot of time in setting up the perfect inventory system that doesn't fit our needs in a year.

The system would need to be cloud-based so that our remote teams can access. I'm considering just updating our excel spreadsheets to Google Spreadsheets and running on that for awhile longer.

I'm also looking at I like QB because I'm familiar with it for book-keeping and having a minimal learning curve right now is important.

Anyone have recommendations for a better system?

Making a recommendation without knowing your business and needs is tough but my experience with Quickbooks inventory is not good IF you're going to process any type of volume (eg more than a few sales a week), want to integrate to your website &/or are selling in multiple channels.  It's my opinion a good system will pay for itself many times over while saving you a lot of headaches on the back side IF you have a good understanding of your business and system needs.

Here are some good inventory systems which are powerful yet relatively easy to use.  I'm not up to date on their pricing models or contract terms as these have been changing quickly in the industry thus I don't know which have low up front costs or are a working on month-to-month SAAS subscription model.  

In alphabetical order here are some that come to mind.  I have personal knowledge of the first 4 and have heard good things about the last 2. I suspect any of these will serve you well to start.  There are other systems but I'm not mentioning them as they're probably to complicated or expensive for where you are.

I am grappling with a similar issue around inventory management currently and we are electing to capture inventory in QuickBooks Online as our order system flows through our web platform into QBO. Having the ability to manage accounts, process invoices, do budgeting/forecast and inventory on one platform may outweigh the inefficiencies in QB. That has been the case for my scenario which is a firm with limited accounting resources. No question there are more comprehensive inventory systems as the other commentator notes, but your resources may not be robust enough to support a much larger feature set.

Yes, part of the problem is we don't know what we need yet. So goal is to keep it simple as possible until we have a better picture.

I've also heard some recommendations for Xero. They're a competitor to Quickbooks which seems to have better inventory management and also has a pretty good app marketplace to scale as needed.
