What tasks do you automate as an entrepreneur to increase productivity?

I am wondering what scripts or perhaps hacks some of you have develop to increase your productivity as a founder on a daily basis. As an example, in 2003 I had a perl script to query the job boards for keywords , scrap the result and send out an application email with CV attached to it (I took care to send one application to a single email). I think this was a legitimate form of spamming - at that moment the local job market was very bad.

Look forward to hearing some great insights here.

I, being a data professional assist client with below mentioned data automation solutions:

  • Data Sourcing and Gathering
  • Data Cleaning
  • Data Structuring
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation
  • Report Dashboard
  • Alerts Systems

The biggest question though is: Who can use data automation?

  • Any business dealing with large volume of data
  • Data may be internal or external
  • Mostly unstructured data
  • Data from any source can be used for automation if available digitally

Today, we are dealing with data abundance which is resulting in data noise. To be data competitive, businesses require a real time feed system that can generate concurrent alerts for different purposes. Data Automation can feed the organisation information eco-system with real time data. Beyond this support, a complete cognitive Machine Learning process that can push the system learning curve in different dimension.

Many businesses adopt data automation only for cost savings and are left with a faulty system with no turn back. Generally, cost moves up when a business adopts a data automation and ML system and gradually goes down after complete adoption. So, your long term patience will ultimately result in cost savings.

In short, with business environment changing tremendously and almost all successful and innovative companies are using automation in some form or the other, data competitive is the need of the hour.
