What will the global market for DTC of live sporting streams look like in five years?

Will we continue to see the big players like ESPN snapping up digital rights for delivery over their OTT/DTC platforms or will the "un-bundling" market pressures lead to subscription-based (AVOD) niche sport channels? Or a combination of these, with the large DR holders including standard access to niche sport content and smaller companies providing subscriptions to more in depth content in addition to the standard access?
