first of all i had an idea that i could help people or provide them with a service that they might want.

I am passionate about it and want to commit several years of time to it.

So i tell some friends and they like the idea and give some additional ideas

I identify some businesses models that are successful and in the same area as my idea

I decide to form an advisory group

I start to brainstorm a brand and some brand values .

What other things should i be doing to support the start up process ?

and What is the best order of that start up process?

What resources should i seek to gather together ?

If you have properly evaluated the opportunity and believe it is something you want to pursue, you should construct a business plan. Most of the questions that need to be answered will arise from this process, as well as the answers.

i did some google digging and found this

https://www.dummies.com/business/start-a-business/business-plans/10-ways-to-evaluate-a-new-business-idea/

this has 10 practical first steps , its worth going through , what i have also found is that when you have a reasonable business idea with a good to excellent chance of making some profits , the rest is brute force determination and long term commitment to the business , doing enough to make it work what ever enough is ....
