What would be a good tech stack for a "screen recording" project?

The idea is to create a tool that will record the user screen (or the events and then reproduce it on top of the original screen, as HotJar does) while they answer a couple of questions.

In your opinion what would be a great tech stack?

Hi Joao,

What is the profile of target users and which target OS (of users) you want to focus primarily. While you can choose either the MS stack or LAMP stack for this, depending on how much of control may be required for other features of your tool, and the budget constraints (so you can look at tools available already for building on such as simplescreenrecorder.com)
