I am hungry for experience but have no idea how to convey that professionally to be given the opportunity. I was hoping to gain a better insight in how others have gotten started.
Essentially, what would be the advice you give your younger self in gaining more experience?
Find someone motivated, and work together to build on a low-cost idea. In the end you will learn something, even if it isn't a success.
This is a hard question to answer as not many details were given. Do you want a job? do you want to start your own business but feel you need more experience?
My recommendation is to find someone successful who does what you want to do and ask if you can work for them for free (like an internship) as you admire what they have done and would love to gain experience in that industry. This will give you an inside look at what they do and some experience. You can then take that and continue to grow it.
I also highly recommend not waiting for others to teach you, but to be proactive in your education. Read, watch videos, interview people and be a sponge in any organization you get involved with. Don't be too proud to do a particular job; everything is an incredible learning opportunity and has value to an organization.
