Startups

Where do I register my startup (other the CrunchBase)?

I am sure there are many startup indexes out where we can get our startup indexed. It has some marketing/pr value to it and also can attract some investors interest. Other then CrunchBase, can you recommend others that are worth registering under? Thanks
You’re ready to turn your idea into a business. But how do you protect it from competitors and copycats? In this course, an experienced patent attorney explains the different types of legal protections to help you determine which is best for your business.

Make sure you're listed on Angel List and Linkedin as well so that people can find you. If you haven't grabbed the Twitter and Facebook handles associated with your company, do so ASAP but that's less about being indexed and more about making sure you have all the tools you might need in the future.

If you are in NYC get listed in Israeli Startups Map and group. Great resource for networking.

Create a company profile on LinkedIn - this has a great way to create authority with your brand.

https://startupgenome.co/ is another place you can register your startup.

I would also do a google search on a competitor that is big in your space and see how/where they come up on Google and register your site for relevant links.

It was started in Austin, so biggest there so far.
