Agreed with Aravind on this one. Which solution you choose really depends on the goal/s of your Mobile In-App efforts.

Hey,

I recently integrated Layer and Atlas to an iOS and it was very positive experience:

The initial implementation was with PubNub and https://github.com/jessesquires/JSQMessagesViewController but I quickly noticed that I can get things done a lot quicker with Layer. They are still lacking some things on the server-side APIs but it's rapidly getting there.
