Who do you effectively and efficiently sell products made in China here in the US Market?

I have sources that can bring Ceramic cook ware that they manufacture in China at a price that are a fraction of what similar products sell in the US market or even online.

We would like to work with an established sales and marketing company to assist us in  either directly sell the product to consumer or market to retails.

Any advise..

If I were you, my first step would be to have them inspected for lead, etc. The "fraction of a price" could be for a reason.

William - Many Chinese factories dream to sell directly in the US markets. But a few are successful.  Do not be confused with product cost at the factory and cost of doing business in the US.  Never under-estimate the marketing expenses and how long it will take.

For most companies, the easy part is sourcing product overseas at a cheap price. The more difficult thing is finding buyers. While online sales are a possibility, most buyers in this category still do so through kitchenware stores (I just did a feasibility study for a client in the industry and looked at the research). It's a fragmented market beyond the big companies like Bed Bath & Beyond, Wal-Mart, etc. - still characterized by a lot of small kitchenware companies, so you will need a rep as Francoise mentioned. Trade shows are a good place to go and you may wish to check out the International Housewares Association (the have a listing of reps on their web site), as well as  Manufacturers’ Agents National Association. You'll need a rigorous testing program because lead in products is a very real concern. I suggest you hire an independent quality agent in China to test and inspect every shipment and check in during the manufacturing process. It will be difficult to find one. You'll also need a comprehensive program to engage and motivate your reps as your product will only be one of many that they represent and they will need the right tools to convince kitchenware stores to carry your product.

Good luck!

This hits me directly! I am an Industrial Designer with an MBA, and have been purchasing products in China for more than 10 years. I am exhibiting 4 products at the Chicago Housewares show in early March (www.housewares.org). Two of these products are my own and I am representing the other two companies. I currently distribute to catalogs, Internet resellers, and have my own brands on Amazon.

Thanks for the post - let me know if I can help.

There is an International Housewares Show in Chicago in early March. This may be a good place to find a distributor or manufacturer's rep to get your product into retailers. (I have a client exhibiting in that show.) Contact me directly to discuss further.
