Golden Grooming Co. is a new revolutionary skin care brand; providing natural skin & hair products for men. Our Detroit based company is seeking to build a team of experts with motivation, knowledge and a strong desire to grow with Golden Grooming Co.

This prospective team member should have a strong background in consumer products marketing management.

Director of Marketing Requirements:
• Develop and communicate an overall product marketing strategy for Golden Grooming Co. including core messages, campaign mechanics and how success is to be measured

• Define and execute product marketing tactics that successfully position Golden Grooming Co. as the premier grooming brand for men of color

• Work closely with Golden Grooming Co.’s Product Engagement, Brand Relations and Product Management teams to develop, iterate and execute Golden Grooming Co.’s communication plan

• Manage Golden Grooming Co.’s participation in industry events including strategy,
messaging, presentations and marketing collateral

• Facilitate,manage and coordinate Golden Grooming Co.’s communication and marketing efforts

• Manage day to day strategy, operations and coordination for external marketing channels including Social Media, Blog and informational Website

• Develop and institutionalize a standard approach to assessing, prioritizing and creating marketing materials

• Work closely with Product Development to understand the Brand’s product in order to develop deeper understanding of the value proposition and talk tracks

• Create core messaging and subsequent marketing collateral, such as presentations, whitepapers, videos and case studies

• Act as external company spokesperson and product expert

• Thought leadership - Help define how our Brand uniquely creates value in the marketplace and work with leadership to communicate this positioning

• BA/BS degree required
• 5+ years of professional experience including 4+ years in a consumer products marketing management position
• Experience working in a highly collaborative environment and driving success by bringing together of knowledge and expertise groups
• Results oriented, highly motivated and driven to succeed with a track record of successfully working towards operational targets
• Experience building teams and business
• Knowledge of the digital marketplace and technologies a plus
