About Adam

Having graduated from USC's undergraduate entrepreneur program in 2010, I am a serial entrepreneur looking to build a business.

Since 2005, I have started a few companies, most notable of which is a men's retail store and website based in Downtown Los Angeles called Seven Points. In a few short years, we were a nationally recognized menswear retailer and become one Men's Health magazine's top 10 men's retail destination in 2014.

However, I originally jumped into the business for the wrong reasons and learned some very valuable lessons. We were in business for 4 years until I realized we did not have an achievable exit strategy. The cost (financial and otherwise) for our exit strategy to be realized was not worth the investment, so we closed our doors in August 2015.

While being a partner the retail store, I was also working for the past 7 years building clothing brands as a wholesale Brand Manager with some of the biggest retailers in the business, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's, Lord & Taylor, and Belk to name a few.

In October 2016, I left the industry to help our struggling family business and have been revamping our sales staff of 12 contractors managing a $4M business, all the while keeping one eye open for the right product and right individual to partner with to launch a new concept.

Responsible for hiring, training, and managing a sales staff of 15 sales teams, a booking department of 20 employees, and a customer service department. Our business owns roughly 95% market share and currently yielding $4M in annual revenue. I'm also overseeing the launch a new retail channel for us selling picture frames online, set to launch later this year.

I was hired by a friends brand to manage and grow their west coast and north east territories. I negotiated a much higher base salary (since their company experienced many shipping problems) when I was hired, and due to a restructure of their business model (outsourced all sales to contractors and showrooms to pay commission on the back end), they could no longer afford me, and laid me off in October 2016.
