About Alex

An effervescent, contemplative young man who wants to save businesses money by decreasing the amount of trash they generate (municipal solid waste). Through continuously tracking (and statistically analyzing) what and how much are being placed into which bin, I find patterns that are developed into implementable recommendations. These recommendations inform a business (1) how to reduce the amount of waste generated and (2) ensure that the right kind of waste is being put in the right bin (i.e. trash is placed in recycling and vice-versa). They’ll substantially decrease their garbage fees, and, although they may see increases in recycling fees, the net change in expenses will be positive (i.e. they’ll save money).
