First time founder
From a young age, I have been driven to find the smallest ways to make the biggest impacts on poverty and inequality. Having stumbled into the Unreasonable Institute and tribe when I was studying at the University of Colorado Boulder, I felt I had discovered a new world and was dedicated to find a way that I could introduce a socially-driven enterprise.
I have spent more than 2 years of my life in more than 20 countries, including developed and developing nations, exploring cultures, connecting with people and learning to love the problem. A week in Berlin with the UnSchool Fellows last year introduced me intimately to the refugee crisis in Europe and I had a eureka moment. My knowledge and experience had come together to form the idea that brings me here today.
Entering the second semester of my MSc in Development and International Relations, I want to sew this start up into the seam of my education and incorporate it into my studies, ensuring I can provide an additional level of knowledge and support as I launch it into the world.
The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new. - Dan Millman
