About Amarja Lokare, AptResponse

We are looking for someone who loves to connect problems that can be solved with Artificial Intelligence(AI) and wants to be part of how AI is truly going to disrupt in the enterprise space. This person should be customer-focused, passionate and loves challenges. Just out of college grads who have a business degree are welcome as well.

Our company AptReponse is a AI based HR customer support software that helps HR professionals to better serve their employees by using employee context, machine learning and language processing capabilities, HR domain rules and policies and integrations to backend HR systems. This approach will help scale support to exponential levels helping HR to shift to a strategic role rather than currently an Administrative role.
The HR software market is currently a 14 billion dollar industry projected to grow to 20 billion in next few years. The support software generally a case management software industry is about 8 billion dollars. The HR support software market that we are targeting is up to 2 billion dollars and growing as a major shift towards HR being more consultative and strategic partner for the business rather than operations/administrative role. The opportunity is huge and ripe for disruption.

I have over 13 years experience in the HR technology. I have both the technical knowhow and domain expertise. Our team consists of technical expertise but less of business development expertise.
We could use some help with business development, marketing and fundraising. We are open to new and out of college business majors with little experience as well as seasoned folks.
Optimally, this person would be in the San Francisco Bay area for a substantial portion of the time, and would have at least 10 hours/week to dedicate to the project. However, it will be fine to work from home most of the time. We’d just like to be able to meet face to face once in awhile.

Compensation for the first year would be substantially in equity.
