About Andrea

This Dog's Life ( highlights up-and-coming brands while providing dog lovers original local and national content along with curated stories from across the web. So, it not only provides the scoop on under-the-radar brands but also reveals the best places for dog lovers to grab a beer with their dog, enjoy brunch with their sidekick or trusted establishments to take their pooch for services. Our first local stop is New York City, and we have also launched in Los Angeles.

While we are working on building out the community, we need to also build and scale the technology. We need someone to help grow the site. We are looking to rollout an ecommerce and service component. And we believe there is so much more that can be done in the mobile, app and social world. Right now, the site could be compared to a Thrillist or Refinery29 for dog owners but want it to evolve to a Houzz for dog owners, providing content, commerce and services (i.e. book a dog walker, groomer, etc.)

As for me, I am a self-professed dog lover with a background in content, marketing and ecommerce. Besides my current position as an editor and reporter for a major online publication, I worked in marketing overseeing local franchise shops for a major brand and owned an ecommerce startup for five years.

My current full-time job is focused on the entrepreneurial world and media. Because of that, I have quite a bit of contacts at other publishing companies, people in PR and founders.

I am looking for some who is a dog freak technical geek. A person that is interested in taking the dog world by storm, is familiar with the market (it is massively growing!) and envisions a product that is the go-to spot for dog lovers.

I would like a co-founder responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the company, working closely with other parts of the company to be sure we can handle the expected growth in traffic and providing technical guidance for the CEO.

Candidate should be a full-stack developer with knowledge and experience pertaining to the three areas: content, commerce and service.
