About Andrew

I'm a mechanical engineer with a broad range of experience in design and manufacturing. I've worked for three different startups - a corporate-funded military vehicle manufacturer, a product design firm funded by the NSF, and a VC-funded alternative energy company.

I'm currently looking to find co-founders to help develop a connected device for the fitness industry. Don't worry, it's not a new twist on the FitBit - it's a revolutionary new tool for strength training. I've been iterating my design of the physical prototype and I'm seeking a partner to help me develop the digital side (web/Android/iPhone). My device gathers a lot of data and is BLE and WiFi-capable. Can you take raw data from a microprocessor and turn it into curated, meaningful information on a sleek, functional UI? If so, I'm interested in working with you.

Bonus points if you have experience in embedded systems programming, control systems engineering, data visualization, big data, strength training, powerlifting, and/or connected devices.

Feel free to contact me here or at andrew(at)

A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects. - Robert Heinlein
