Andrew West is a technology thought-leader, & entrepreneur. He has been featured in Microsoft's Born to Learn EdTech Blog, Innov8Tiv Magazine, & Computerworld Magazine. West is also a published author of “The Modern CEO: Technology Tools, Innovation & Guidebook for Today's Tech Savvy Leader”. A born leader dedicated to empowering others, West is the founder of NBITLO - The National Black Information Technology Leadership Organization which hosts Urban Tech Weekend events. West leads the Houston-based West Innovation Group, a technology consultancy specializing in IT infrastructure, mobile application development & managed services as CEO. West earned a wealth of knowledge working for over (17) years in various IT leadership capacities with organizations such as CNN, MCI, Capital One Bank, Dillard University, Algiers Charter Schools Consortium and Berkshire Hathaway. West earned his bachelors in Computer Science at USM, and an Executive Leadership Cohort of Tulane University'. West is a 2016 HIVE Global Leadership Fellow (Harvard University Innovation Lab), and recently admitted to a MIT, Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he is obtaining a Professional Certificate in Innovation & Technology. West studied Spanish in Madrid, Spain at Enforex Spanish Language School.
