About Anthony

Spent the past 2 years building Chalk Schools from a 6 employee, pre-Series A company with minimal revenue to a 23 employee, $1.2m ARR SaaS business. This included building and owning all elements of our gotomarket strategy as well as fundraising and conducting board meetings alongside our founding team.

In order to move closer to home, my wife and I recently decided to relocate to Atlanta from SF where I am excited to apply my learnings and skill set to a new startup opportunity. My specific interest/expertise is in vertical SaaS businesses, but I would be excited to hear about other opportunities as well.

Work Experience

Chief Operating Officer and Board Observer

Chalk Schools

July 2015 - June 2017

Chalk Schools is a SaaS application serving public, K12 school districts. Our goal is to automate the collection and management of paper-based approvals and signatures that exist throughout each district. In my role, I led and managed all non-product initiatives for the business. This included the building of our Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Operations teams. I took a lead role in our Series A fundraising activities alongside our founders, where we were successfully able to capitalize the business on favorable terms. During this time, the business achieved or succeeded all revenue and operational milestones.

VP of Business Development and Corporate Development

Beneco

June 2014 - June 2015

Beneco is a private-equity owned benefits company that serves the construction industry. In my time there, I led all gotomarket activities for the business, where we exceeded targets in each quarter. Additionally, I served as the lead on our Corporate Development strategy as we sought to acquire strategic companies within our space.
