First time founder
My ideal candidate is someone who is truly dedicated to making a business successful. I have already spent about a year worth of development hours (check out my github commits to this project source code repository: https://github.com/whoaverse/whoaverse/commits?author=whoaverse) and this was at first my student hobby project. I am currently living in Zurich, CH where I will be studying 1 exchange term (fall 2014), so ideally, my candidate would live in Zurich where we could meet up and discuss all details, but this is not a requirement.
As for me - I never give up when I hit a dead end and keep pushing forward. I have a "can-do" attitude and to me there is no problem large enough that could not be solved. Everything is possible if you put your heart into it.
A bit about the project/startup idea: reddit, a well known social platform has recently made several changes which prompted harsh response from their community requesting the changes to be reverted (http://www.dailydot.com/news/reddit-vote-count-percent-like/). Reddit is also criticized for censorship and foul play with ads. Reddit currently has no competition and this is where my project comes in. I call it whoaverse and alpha version of this system is running live at http://whoaverse.com. I built the entire system from scratch using C# ASP.NET MVC 5 and SQL database server with several third party libraries. Whoaverse is open source (https://github.com/whoaverse/whoaverse) and so far, during this alpha phase, it had over 47000 unique visitors. I need someone to help me move forward, someone to take care of the business side of things, handle finances and raise funds. I need to hire at least 1 more developer to help work on the API and perhaps develop mobile client application for Whoaverse. Please do not hesitate to contact me for further details.
