About Austin

I am a serial entrepreneur and investor looking to devote my time and resources to the next big opportunity.

After graduating from college, I had a forecast analyst position for exactly one year (to the day), and I have been starting businesses ever since. I like to say that I haven't had a real job for eight years.

I'm especially looking for opportunity in real estate (where I can raise significant investment, for the right development opportunity). My professional connections and domain knowledge make me well positioned to join a startup in agriculture, ecommerce, food and beverage, mining, or cannabis.

While I'm not a full time coder or developer, my wealth of experience as a systems integrator enables me to bring a strong technical mind to the team. However, I'm not well suited to be the lead engineer or a CTO.

Above all, I'm a chill guy in Denver who loves startups, networking, and business. I work full time out of Galvanize - Platte and I'm always open to a coffee chat. Drop me a line!

Quote

“Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.” - Rob Siltanen
