About Aysha

I've set up businesses and worked with entrepreneurs, now I want to increasing equality in VC in Africa. Would you like to join me?
Only 2% of venture capital funding goes to companies led by women and just 0.2% goes to companies led by women of color and women-led companies are likely to receive much less investment then a man-led company. This is not because women cannot run successful and profitable businesses, in fact quite the opposite evidence and data shows that companies led by women outperform companies led by men.

The ideal co-founder will:
- have experience in the VC world at a senior level
- be well connected to financial institutions and investment companies in Mauritius and other parts of Africa
- be a confident public speaker, looking for an exciting opportunity where they will be in a position to influence change
- passionate about creating a change within VC and helping women to access VC

This is a start-up co-founder role with emphasis on partnership development, product development, income generation, project management, communications and more.

The organisation is still very much in it's infancy, so there is only equity on offer at the moment.
