About Brett

Director of Sales and Business Development at CitySourced, Inc.
Los Angeles, CA
In 2009 CitySourced launched at TechCrunch with the City of San Jose as its first enterprise client and now is being used by more than fifty public entities including the Cities of Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Kansas City, MO, Omaha, NE, Honolulu, HI, Miami Beach, FL, Delaware, DE and localized internationally in Abu Dhabi, Japan, Canada, Australia, Panama, and the U.K. CitySourced is both a Smartphone App for civic reporting and a SaaS enterprise CRM/WOM which integrates with various CRM/WOM/ERP/AMS enterprise software to allow citizens to report infrastructure issues with GPS data in a map with a picture, video or audio file, so that matters may be remedied more quickly and efficiently. During my time at CitySourced, it raised approximately 1.5M and went from zero in revenues to almost 1M per year and cash flow breakeven. As director of Sales & Business Development, I was responsible for national and international business development and market strategy for sales; participated in full life cycle of the sales cycle: lead generating, presentations, negotiations, client meetings, relationship building, and account management; drafted proposals and responded to RFP's; conducted presentations demonstrating the services we offer via the web, on site, and at trade shows; participated as a speaker at several large national software conferences; became friends with executives at Oracle, IBM, Microsoft, Esri, Sungard, Cityworks, Lucity, Vueworks, Edgesoft, etc. More information is available at
12/1/08 to 1/5/13

I have ideas for some new mobile apps, some capital, and one developer on board, need CTO and Angels. Also, I am open to joining a venture which has the engineers and the capital but needs a sales and biz dev director.
