What kind of difference to you want to make? Do you want to help a million Americans make better financial decisions by leveling the playing field with enormous financial institutions? If this describes you, we should talk.

Decision Fish is unique start up with an important social mission: to help consumers make better financial decisions. We know that individuals can make costly mistakes: there are more than 1/4 million homes in foreclosure, even eight years after the financial crisis. We apply the latest in decision science, behavioral economics, corporate finance and user experience design to build a suite of mobile apps that help people save money and reduce risk when making high-stakes decisions. We are starting with two home finance decisions: "How much home can I afford?" and "Is it time to refinance my mortgage?".

A recovering investment banker, my goal is to help the greatest number of people make better financial decisions. In my previous life as a banker and advisor to municipalities and large nonprofits, I created a decision-making process, called the Risk First Framework, to help my clients make better decisions. The Framework includes a step-by-step process that helps sophisticated and risk-averse institutions decide on the best investing, borrowing and hedging strategies. I intend to apply my deep experience in finance to consumer decisions to maximize my personal impact.
