About Jerry

We're building a toolkit for communities to manage alcohol-outlet licensing, enforcement and related public safety issues. We're focused on reducing alcohol related crimes from assaults to drunk and impaired driving.

This platform can be tailored to other civic related issues helping both civic leaders and community advocates manage, monitor and adjust policies and laws. Issues like fracking, ride-sharing, home-sharing and many other localized matters are largely imposed upon local government vs. shaped with the interests of a wide range of civic stakeholders ignored.

We also have a prototype tool that harvests municipal records like agendas, minutes and support documents from local government websites. We can then do a number of things including our first proof-of-concept which alerts people when things they care about appear in agendas.

We're looking for a co-founder that understands the value of such a toolkit, and is looking to make a difference in communities throughout the United States. We're in the midst of a civic-technology explosion and this toolkit will be an important element helping get people engaged through data and visualization tools.
