About Seth

My co-founder and I graduated from business school (Dartmouth/NYU) last year. I previously worked in tech and management in the newsroom of The NYT and spent the first year after business school helping a friend get 42Floors.com (Y-Combinator) off the ground. I currently work in mobile comm at Intel. My co-founder does marketing and bizdev for web startups in NYC/Boston and worked as a producer and in the theater/film industries prior to b-school.

We have a compelling idea with a clear path to revenue. It has serious potential, but is also going to be very challenging, from a business perspective, to pull off. We’re highly confident in our business/strategy/marketing abilities, though, have developed a solid go-to-market plan, are committed to the lean methodology and are fully prepared to pivot as necessary. We view the challenge mainly as a positive barrier to entry vs. potential competitors.

Our web dev needs are minimal at the moment (we’ll likely contract a prototype) but will increase significantly over time, assuming the MVP gains traction. We are seeking a purely technical cofounder and are open to negotiation about how much/little time you want to commit. If you want to wait for traction before committing fully, we absolutely respect that, but would love to get to know you now vs. later and could use your input starting immediately.
