Colin Doylend leads engagement and business partnership efforts for businesses and First Nations governments and is certified as a Professional Aboriginal Economic Developer. Over the last ten years, Colin has obtained extensive experience and knowledge in relation to all levels of government and First Nation communities. As the former Chief of Staff to Provincial Ministers, senior communications advisor with BC Hydro and board member for several community and professional organizations, he understands the value of strong and strategic partnerships. Colin has lead and facilitated over fifty business agreements and negotiations with First Nation communities, government and industry over the last two years. As an example, Colin has been working with the Tsleil-Waututh Nation in North Vancouver and facilitated the Nation’s support for Seaspan’s successful bid on the National Shipbuilding Procurement Strategy. Colin also brokered the $2 million investment for the Nation in Endurance Wind Power – Canada’s largest wind turbine manufacturer.
