About Dave

For 11 years, Mystery Trip LA has created unique and memorable event for team building, client outings, birthdays and networking. Each trip is custom-made for the group, and have included tours of historic landmarks and odd museums, meals at socially-conscious restaurants and gourmet food trucks and cheering on sumo wrestlers, roller derby chicks and demolition derby drivers, and plenty more!

What started out as a yearly party for friends evolved into a word-of-mouth business almost four years ago, and has been fueled by repeat business, terrific reviews, some good press and awards and good old Google searches.

A few of Mystery Trip's accolades include:
LA Weekly “Best of” 2012 – “Best Bizarro Tour Bus Event Thingy” (October 2012)
Awesome Foundation LA – Mystery Trip LA won the inaugural grant of the local chapter of the international group that promotes awesomeness in several cities around the world (January 2011)
Forbes.com – “Five Ways Los Angeles Is Getting More Awesome” (2012)
Business Insider – “The 22 Coolest Small Businesses in Los Angeles” (2013)
CityVoter – #1 Best City Tour – 2013; #3 Best City Tour – 2012; #4 Best City Tour – 2011

In the past year, Mystery Trip has done events for Google, AOL, Riot Games, Discovery Channel, and had celebrities such as Emma Stone, Andrew Garfield, Christina Hendricks, January Jones join in the fun.

While I know how to throw a great Mystery Trip, I am looking to build on the success I've had and grow the company both within Los Angeles and expand into other cities, so the ideal candidate for me is someone who can visualize and execute growth, as well as streamline operations to make this a turn-key process that can be replicated.
