First time founder
Notice: I'm not looking to work for you. I'm not looking to be your developer. I do not need a job. Please do not message me if this is what you're looking for. There are plenty of other people to talk to. If you're looking for a full business partner, then read on.
By trade, I am a full-stack web developer. I've been a leader at several great companies in the past. Currently, I'm traveling with my family and working from all over the world, though I will likely be back in NYC sometime in the future, though it is hard to say exactly when.
For now, we travel.
If time zone differences don't bother you then definitely reach out.
Currently, I'm working on a platform that seeks to help people validate their business idea and connect with their first customers and users. If you're a marketing or product genius, I'd love to connect with you.
What I excel at?
- Product development: Taking ideas that are at their seed stage and forging them into something more fully formed.
- Web development: I'm an excellent backend and front-end developer, who is also fully versed in what is possible and not possible. To note, not possible generally means not advised.
Long-term, I'm looking to build a business that will complement and accelerate my life. I want to have the freedom to travel when I want and work from where I want. I've been working (very successfully) for the last year out of coffee shops and coworking spaces across the US, Europe, and SE Asia. I'd like to be able to continue to do this for several months every year.
I am also available to serve as a technology advisor to other companies who need help organizing their technology teams, understanding what technology they need and don't need at early stages, and more than anything helping to clear up the often misunderstood notion that every company needs a technical co-founder to succeed. It is definitely helpful, but not every company is a "technology company" in the same way.
More than anything, I want to create something that can be an engine of change, not only for my family but for others as well.
