About Edge

My name is Edge, I'm 17 and currently in high school for filmmaking and photography. I'm a very passionate artist and developer, as well as an aspiring entrepreneur. I pursue skate and snowboarding, music production, running, and as much business and networking as I can at my age. I love all forms of art, including code. I try to bridge the gap between technology and art as often as possible.

I'm developing a social-networking platform for artists. Being surrounded by a hundreds of artists everyday for years in my work and school life, I was able to design a unique and unprecedented platform. It's a product to revolutionize the industry, supporting a very engaged and passionate community. Whether that be a rising producer in Atlanta or a graffiti artist working on the streets of LA, this would be a scalable platform for them to make connections, grow their audience, customize their portfolio, feature their work and brand, upload and share any original content, and much more.

At the moment I'm searching for CTO that has the experience to help build the MVP (already designed) and a platform at this scale, but also has a real passion for the project. Our technical co-founder needs to see the potential in the platform model, and demonstrate the initiative we need to build a network.

We're just a team of high school students but we have the ambition, vision, and design to revolutionize and industry. At my age, its hard to make a difference, and even harder to convince someone that you can. That being said, I'm dedicated to learning and building as much as I can.

“Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.” - Rob Siltanen
