About Lutfur

I've formed a new IoT startup focusing on high end and innovative LCD controllers and encapsulated displays for the digital signage and multimedia markets (ranging from 5.5" through to 84"). I’m seeking to partner with a dynamic, intelligent and entrepreneurial CTO (or perhaps 2 individuals) with an interest in 'everything LCDs'. Ideally, you'll have advanced knowledge on FPGAs or LCD specific SOCs/Scalers from the likes of Realtek/Mstar/ST etc. PCB design and Microprocessor programming skills will also be handy.

My current roadmap is high end (e.g. USB-C and HDMI to MIPI controller, 5K and 8K boards, H.264 IP streaming of HDMI etc.). Board level stuff aside, we will be working on a range of high brightness displays to compete against the likes of NEC, Samsung and LG.

About Me: I'm a friendly and chilled 'hardware guy' with +8 years experience as a OEM of controllers for LCD displays and related peripherals. I'm responsible for several cutting-edge products e.g. the 1st commercial 2K display and 5K controller as well as having my own 8ch LVDS, Vx1 and eDP board. I've spent considerable time in China and know what stuff costs and how to get things done (although, I rarely box-shift opting to manufacture and assemble here in the UK).

I can probably self-fund (small budget) and have my own 5000 sqf space in Birmingham UK. My business acumen and commercial awareness will be complemented by your exceptional electronic design skills - but its important we gel and get along as a team. I work 18 hours a day and require commitment along the same lines and whilst there's no immediate salary for either of us (until the products are ready for market launch), the usual share/equity splits are guaranteed. As cliched as it sounds, I genuinely believe this to be a life changing opportunity.
