About Max

I founded a non-profit makerspace in Fredericksburg VA but I am more interested in doing something for profit in the education technology area. It seems that most ed. tech. is too expensive, too superficial, too difficult to use and poorly documented so despite educators best efforts it usually ends up sitting in a closet after the first few years of trying to integrate it into the learning process. With things like Arduino, Raspberry Pi computers and vast amounts of free software for programming, modeling and simulation it should be possible to offer reasonably priced and intuitive ed. tech. that resonates with educators and students at a profit. The more students learn about technology the more technology they will demand and develop as adults and I see technology as a key element to solving problems be they individual problems or societal problems.
