About Gianni

My name is Gianni and I am a 33 years old Italian national. I am looking for a founder who has a brilliant and disruptive business idea. I have more than six years of experience in the financial industry working in different positions. After having spent the first part of my career working for a big corporation I believe it is now time to start my own business.

Although not having a significant experience with start-ups, I believe I developed some capabilities that can bring added value to a company. I work on a daily basis together with several salesmen in a tough market such as life insurance for HNWI. I have worked for many years in an operational department within a large organization; this implied being involved in numerous projects that aimed to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of operations. Finally, last year I completed a postgraduate diploma in business analytics that gave me a foundation of coding, database, statistical modelling and machine learning.

Ideally, I would like to join a start-up at its early stage and I would like to take part in the business model creation. I would be happy to be the investor in a project in which I believe. On the other hand, I do not mind joining a start-up already launched and in a growth phase if my expertise and capabilities are useful for it.

I am looking to meet, grab a cup of coffee or simply talk on Skype with smart and interesting people who are able to think out-of-box, even for a simple exchange of ideas. I am also always interested to hear what people are working on.
