About Gregory

I am interested in socially-conscience enterprises that address nutrition-related issues. I am fortunate enough to have explored 25 countries, including impoverished places like South Africa, Cuba and Mexico, and I have studied many more. During the 2007/2008 world food price crisis, I personally managed the effects it had on my domestic food manufacturing business, and I observed the effects it had on the less fortunate. Throughout my career, I have worked in small and very small businesses that provide large volumes of products or services. My contributions to a startup would include the development, implementation and/or management of qualitative operational systems and the financial management systems related thereto in order to optimize resources and scale rapidly. My career in both food manufacturing operations and asset-based lending has provided me with complementary skills and knowledge of managing both qualitative and quantitative factors and how they interrelate. More specifically, I would contribute to converting innovations and concepts into executable, efficient and valuable products, services and/or strategies. I am a systems-thinker and I enjoy developing and refining new management systems, and measuring the qualitative and quantitative results after execution.
