Technology Brand Management: Contributed to the development of Basenine brand and its evolution. • Mergers & Acquisitions: Led M&A and partnership activity. The M&A strategy focused on backward integration: Led the M&A team during the acquisition of LeadPile (a lead selling marketplace). This acquisition involved a thorough analysis of current (past two years) and projected (next three years) company financials, capital requirements for technology, team talent evaluation, growth potential of current business verticals, market reputation, and assessment of current clients. The M&A process included creation and execution of a transition plan from the company founders. Result: This acquisition established a clear competitive advantage and returned positive ROI in just seven months. • Spin-off: Launched, built and spun off the marketing team to become AREA203 Digital. The separation and spin-off established a clear brand focus for both Basenine and AREA203 Digital. • Product Strategy: Contributed LeadPile’s entry into new verticals by assessing new business verticals, products and services. • Process Management: Worked with interactive marketing, analysts, technical and project management teams to develop, document and manage end-to-end digital marketing processes.
